Description
Day 1 : Pick up from Jaipur at the guest’s desired location and begin the journey towards Chand Baori, one of India’s most remarkable stepwells. Built over a thousand years ago in Abhaneri, this architectural marvel features 3,500 perfectly symmetrical steps leading down to a deep water reservoir. The intricate design and historical significance make it one of the most stunning stepwells in the world. After exploring this hidden gem, continue the drive toward Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, also known as Keoladeo Ghana National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This vast wetland is home to over 370 bird species, including painted storks, egrets, spoonbills, and the rare Siberian crane. Enjoy a peaceful rickshaw ride through the sanctuary as you capture breathtaking photos of migratory and resident birds in their natural habitat.
The journey then proceeds to Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned Mughal capital built by Emperor Akbar in the 16th century. The grand red sandstone structures reflect a unique blend of Hindu and Islamic architectural styles. Walk through the royal complex, exploring the majestic Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, and the beautifully designed palaces that once housed Mughal royalty. Learn about the historical significance of this UNESCO-listed site, once the seat of Akbar’s empire before being abandoned due to water scarcity.
After exploring the wonders of Fatehpur Sikri, the journey continues to Agra, where the tour concludes with a drop-off at the guest’s desired location, marking the end of a day filled with history, architecture, and natural beauty.
