Description
You will be picked up from your hotel, airport, or any location in Delhi, Noida, or Gurgaon. The approximately 3-hour drive to Agra follows the Yamuna Expressway.
In Agra, you will visit the Taj Mahal with a guided tour lasting about two hours. This ivory-marble monument, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1632, houses the tombs of him and his wife Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal is a UNESCO World Heritage Site recognized for its Muslim art heritage.
Next, explore Agra Fort for one hour. This walled fort city, also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was the residence of early Mughal emperors. After the tour, you will drive to Jaipur for an overnight stay.
On day two, after breakfast, your guided tour in Jaipur includes:
- The historic stepwell known for its symmetrical stairways and rainwater catchment system
- Jal Mahal, a palace located in the middle of Man Sagar Lake, built in the 18th century by Maharaja Jai Singh II
- City Palace, established by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, serving as the former administrative and ceremonial seat
- Hawa Mahal, a five-floor palace with 953 small lattice windows, constructed in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. You may request a stop here with your guide
After the Jaipur tour, you will return to Delhi. Drop-off options include airport, railway station, hotel, or any other location in Delhi, Noida, or Gurgaon. Alternatively, you may choose drop-off at Jaipur or Delhi airport.
