Day 1: Delhi to Jaipur – Exploring the Pink City
Pickup: Early morning pickup from Delhi (hotel/airport/railway station) by a Padma Holidays representative. Drive to Jaipur (Approx. 5-6 hours).
Upon arrival in Jaipur, explore its grand monuments:
City Palace – A magnificent royal residence with courtyards, gardens, and a museum displaying Rajput and Mughal artifacts.
Jantar Mantar – An astronomical observatory with the world’s largest stone sundial, built by Maharaja Jai Singh II.
Hawa Mahal (Photo Stop) – The 'Palace of Winds,' an architectural marvel with 953 small windows designed for royal ladies to observe street festivities.
Johari Bazaar & Bapu Bazaar – Explore vibrant markets known for gemstones, textiles, and traditional Rajasthani crafts.
Overnight Stay: Jaipur
Day 2: Jaipur to Jodhpur – The Blue City’s Heritage
After breakfast, drive to Jodhpur (Approx. 5-6 hours). Upon arrival, visit:
Mehrangarh Fort – A massive fort with stunning architecture, intricate carvings, expansive courtyards, and breathtaking city views.
Jaswant Thada – A marble cenotaph built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, featuring beautifully carved lattice screens and serene surroundings.
